Our Core Team
Director
Michael Nesbitt
Michael (Mick) has been a Registered Builder since 1988 as well as being a qualified Carpenter, and Company Director.
Mick’s background is in high rise construction in Sydney and he started working in the shopfitting industry in WA in 1994. Mick has extensive knowledge of the shopfitting industry – he is known for being hands-on from start to finish. He spends a large majority of his time physically working on site, as well as working in the office. Mick has a great relationship with our clients. Our repeat and referral business is in part due to his friendly and easy-going manner.
Director
Julia (Jools) Nesbitt
Julia has been working in the building industry since 1995. She is our Office Administration Manager as well as a Company Director. Julia has a Business Degree from Edith Cowan University, and a Diploma in Building & Construction. She is the main contact in our office, and can help you with queries regarding accounts, contracts, building permits, WH&S, and work schedules.
Julia is also a qualified Work Health and Safety Officer, and runs the site-safety side of the business. Julia was the first woman in WA to complete a Diploma in Building and Construction.
Our Staff and Extended Team
Masonex employ a team of Carpenters, Shopfitters and Trades Assistants who always produce high quality finishes with their attention to detail, and pride in their work. Along with our staff, Masonex engage an array of sub-contractors who cover every trade; with many of them working alongside Masonex for about 28 years. We know our staff and contactors skill levels and we work effortlessly as a team to achieve a brilliant result for our clients.
Our contracted loyal tradies are a valued component of our business.
The trades covered include Carpenters, Electricians, Plasterers, Signage Contractors, Plumbers, Painters, Glazier, Shopfront Door installers, Flooring Contractors, Tilers, Structural Engineers, Designers, Fire and Sprinkler Contactors, Mechanical/Air Conditioning installers, and our Building Certifier.
